Looking for Talented Fun Folks!

Talented and Fun People out there! Earn some extra cash going into the holiday season.

Magical Theatre Company is looking for people to work with them as instructors in the Akron After School program offered through The Akron Public School System.

Akron After School provides elementary school kids in the public school system an alternative to being a latch key kid.  And at the same time the kids get to explore a variety of interests.

Each instructor will work with Magical to design their class to meet their own interests.  Big on yoga?  Do yoga classes.  Like to sing or dance or act?  Teach those!  Good at crafts?  Go for it.  What about science, or constellations or sports or storytelling or puzzles or drumming or knitting or mask making  or crazy card games or magic or cheerleading or sign language or……the list is as long as your imagination.

Here is how it will work:

1.  Design the curriculum for a total of 8 different classes. (we can help with this)

2.  Each instructor will be assigned a school(s) and be given the onsite contact person’s info

3.  Show up and have fun!

Classes run 8 weeks from October 14 to December 6, the classes are M,W,H, F from 4:00-5:15 pm. Tuesday is a double day with 2 classes 3:00-4:00 pm and 4:00-5:15 pm.

Pay is $30- $40 for each class (tbd based on experience). 5 classes a week is $150-$200 a week for 8 weeks; to be paid in a lump sum at end of session. Cha Ching!

Can’t committee to the whole week?  Only a couple days?  No problem we will pair up folks to fill the week.

Interested?  Let us know ASAP! Contact Deb Lemire, queenbeeprod@yahoo.com or call  330-701-6887.
